Nicholas' "Last Day of School" Treat from Sonic

Ok, so here I go-my first attempt at becoming a "blogger" to help keep everyone up to date on the "goings-on" of the Finley family. With Nicholas a very active 3, and his little brother to be here in 3 1/2 months or so, I thought this would be a great way to share funny stories, "boy mom" life through my eyes, and of course-pictures. Not sure how good of a job I'll do-or how frequently I'll do it-but it's worth a try! I have enjoyed the blog experience in keeping up with my friend Andria who is in San Antonio for Law School, so I feel just educated enough on the deal to try! So here we go..

Nicholas has had a big week with both his 3rd birthday and the last day of school for the year this past Wednesday. Here we are two days later and he is already asking when he gets to go to school. Wow, do you think he'll have the same response when the summer starts after 7th grade?? Ha ha! We are so blessed to have him in such a great preschool that he can't wait to go back. He will go for a summer program in July, but sadly-he won't find Mrs. Dawn & Mrs. Karen waiting for him at the door. That is going to be an interesting day! Above is a picture of him after that last day of school. I told him we would go to Sonic for a "Last Day of School Treat" and told him he could get a special drink. His request, "MILK!" Whose kid is this again?? I finally convinced him to have a slush-BLUE of course, becuase "Blue is my color" as he likes to say.

So there are some highlights of our week. As I said, not sure how often I'll post messages, or pictures-but it's worth a try!
